On a visit to a Creative Crafts show recently I came across a course to learn the art of Felting. I was so inspired by the students work and also by the tutor Gill Burbidge that I decided to enrol.

We don't see these in Somerset but aren't they beautiful....
I'm starting work on my portfolio...I've bought some Olive oil soap and wool tops so I'm ready for my next class.

You haven't posted here in so long! Felting seems to be all the rage of late. I remember seeing a lady in a craft store doing it several years ago -- amazing how it turns out but sure seems like a tedious process. I've never seen such beautiful sheep like that before. The ones here are pretty pitiful looking. Wishing you a great week. Tammy
It sounds like an interesting course teaching you a lot about the different fibres and wools instead of a quick 'how to'. I hope you continue to enjoy it. I saw you like vintage lace, lace and felt look really lovely together.
